As we all have seen, the rains in Chennai have massively disrupted everyday life in Chennai. From today's news, it is good to see that the rains have reduced and the city is coming back to normalcy.
Sadly, this process is not very simple due to many factors. Firstly, the sheer area and the number of people in Chennai is a hurdle. For any entity even as efficient as the Indian Army, it is difficult to cover an area of 426 square kilometres with over 4.5 million people!
Secondly, due to lack of communication between several bodies of the state government and the Indian Army, images of the army posted in Chennai from all over India not been completely utilized has been plastered all over the news.
The quickest way to get help those is to do our bit to help those around us thus augmenting the help provided by the government. This blog essentially is a platform for the people under duress to post their requirements and those with a big heart to help them out.
